Admission was based on 12th boards marks. I chose this college because it has a great locality and there are plenty of opportunities available in the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good. It has a variation. It is based on modern needs for skills from students. It is equipped with practical as well as theoretical knowledge. Curriculum is pretty interesting and easy too. You don't need to study much to get good marks.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, it does. Bank companies come to take interns and train them, like axis bank, ICICI bank. Internships help a lot.
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities are good, better than other colleges. The cpanies offer 3 lakh to 7 lakh per annum on an average and highest package goes as high as 25 lakh. Companies like ITC, Axis bank etc come here. Their packages are very good and workload is not much.
College Events
Mehak, the cultural fest of Aurobindo college. It is a great fest. All of DU comes to this fest. There is a star night where a very famous celebrity is invited. A very nice crowd comes to this fest. Events are well organised and top teams of DU participate.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is very less and feesible. It is affordable even for students with poor background. Education cannot be more affordable. There are further fees off for reserved categories, poor people and people with disabilities. It is good. Fees is less. Canteen food is affordable.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is given to the topper of the college, it is pretty good. There are full feed scholarship and half fees scholarship available.
Campus Life
The gender ratio is pretty good. It is almost 1:1. Students from every community come to this college and there is no discrimination on the basis of caste, race, gender etc. The north eastern students enjoy the campus life as well and are free from racism.
Hostel Facilities
It is okay. Not very good but okay. Canteen is clean and hygenic and food is also very clean and hygenic. Food quality is okay. Food taste is okay. It is very cheap. If the taste of food and its cost are compared, food is pretty cheap. It is good. There is variety of items available.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students are very helpful. They give every kind of knowledge they can to the juniors. They tell juniors how to handle extra curricular and studies.
Exam Structure
It is neither hectic, neither chilled out. It is medium. Students get enough time to prepare for exams and practicals. They are perfectly timed and benefit the students. Exams are not too tough and there is enough time to prepare. Exams help the students.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is great. They are very friendly and approachable. They handle all problems of the students. All are very experienced teachers and they make the curriculum more interesting. They are pretty supportive of extra curricular activities too.
