IIIT Nagpur Experience

I was looking for a college with a small student body and a good placement for my B.Tech. I was interested in the CSE programme and also met the college cutoff. During JOSAA counselling, I was told about IIIT Nagpur based on my JEE score, and I was assigned a seat for the CSE programme at IIIT Nagpur. The college is a new establishment under the MHRD's Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. The college faculty is excellent, and the college currently only offers the B.Tech programme. At the moment, the college's primary focus is on CSE and ECE programmes.

The curriculum is designed in accordance with industry standards and is updated on a regular basis to meet industry challenges. CSE is the college's flagship course, so you should have no reservations about the college's curriculum. CSE was chosen because it has a broader scope. The curriculum is intended to provide us with practical knowledge while also developing us as future industry leaders. The college's faculty is knowledgeable and experienced. The professors have PhD and their teaching methods are simple to grasp. The interaction between faculty and students is positive, and students can easily approach teachers with questions.

Many companies, including Amazon, Goldman Sachs, and TCS, offered internships. This college has a good internship ratio. Many app, web, and software development projects have been completed by college students for their final project.

It is really commendable for a new college that was established in 2016 to provide such a good placement. The college has a placement record of around 85 per cent, which is why most of our batchmates went on to higher education. The college placement committee is very expert and plays an important role during our placement rounds because our information is already with the committee, so they are also effective in inviting companies that are of interest to us. During the placement process, the placement committee assists and guides us. Our batch's highest package was approximately 38 LPA, and the average package was approximately 10 LPA.

The college's campus life is enjoyable and welcoming. The seniors are likely cooperative because the college strictly enforces a no-ragging policy. The classrooms are well-designed and well-maintained. Housekeeping is in charge of keeping the campus clean. The college library is a great place to visit because there are so many books from various fields. The college labs are excellent. Sports facilities such as basketball, football, volleyball, and a badminton court are also available at the college.

The rooms are available on a sharing basis, with four people sharing each room. The rooms have separate study tables for each of us, as well as almirahs and beds. The mess's food is also tasty. The hostel is well-kept, and the rooms are cleaned on a daily basis. The college also has a WiFi connection that is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
