Course Curriculum Overview
I chose B.com with accounts honors because I wanted to pursue CA, for which B.com serves as a very crucial course and this was the reason why I opted for B.com only. Student to faculty ratio is satisfactory as for every subject we get at least 2-4 faculties. Teaching methods were also satisfactory. Exams were conducted like all other colleges only, 2 exams per semester, that is the mid semester and final semester exams, which were quite easy to pass if you have studied properly
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus recruitment from the fifth semester. Companies like Wipro, Reliance, Qualcomm etc visits women's college for recruitment purposes. The average package is something around 3 lakhs and the highest is somewhat near 7-8 lakhs. Almost 30% Students get placed every year from the college placements
Fees and Financial Aid
As a government college, fee structure is absolutely lenient and not at all heavy for your pocket. For any professional courses like MBA, scholarships are also being provided which helps economically backward classes to learn
Campus Life
Annually women's college conduct sports events and other cultural events. College libraries do have plenty of books for you to study and gain general knowledge. Course related books are however very less. Women's college is pretty much known for sports as it conducts sports events Annually. Extra curricular activities include cultural events. Women's college has a social work group, which is run by students.
Interview Experience
The interview was basically a personal interview where the interviewer checks your ability to speak, listen and also your knowledge regarding the subjects you studied and about general affairs. Only preparation needed is just be fluent with your answers and practice speaking well.
