Hansraj for computer science

The admission process went smoothly, I was required to look out for colleges offering BSc Hons CS within my percentage. Eligibility was the best four within the cutoff of college. Looked for the DU list of cutoffs. And started my application by registering on the Du portal for the ug course. Due to obc reservation got relaxation in marks...

Computer science is great in terms of future aspects and works as a professional Course. The course curriculum is great and based on DU guidelines. They teach all the subjects at par with other colleges worldwide. The faculty is supportive and greatly qualified and gives proper individual attention. The faculty was mostly Ph.D. and well qualified to carry out regular tests. These tests were helpful in the preparation for exams.

Internships are offered either through the internship cell or you get the updates from the department as well. While being part of the course you can participate in various competitions and teachers are very supportive of that. Like I participated in the smart India hackathon and it was greatly supported by the faculty.

Placements are great, there is a whole placement cell to make the process easy and comfortable for both candidates and placement drivers. There were a lot of famous companies like Deloitte, bain & co, op tree, de shaw, Oberoi, etc. The highest package was I guess 25 lakh per annum while I would say the minimum package doesn't go less than 3-4lakh per annum. A good number of people get placed given they are well versed with the requirements.

Fees structure is 50000 per year. And I think it is arguable with the facilities and exposure provided and also laptops and books issue is available. Fees remains the same, of 3 years and scholarship is given based on economic status of child and merit.

Being a part of North campus it is great to be in Hansraj. annual fest that in the month of February march, is a great time to get working and get a lot of experience of society and other profiles, meet a lot of people and enjoy the food, art, music. Hansraj has a great library with ac and all course book issues for around 15 days. Classrooms are fully ac and with projector. With its huge ground, the sports department provides tools for regular sportspeople as well as generally for students the material is available on id cards. There are a lot of societies and clubs you can get associated with like fashion society, poetry, art, and department society is also available.
