For taking the admission, first and foremost students have to keep a check on the college website for the admission notification. The college starts the admission procedure just after the declaration of the class 12 results. After filling the admission form. The students have to wait for the merit list to come which will be available on the college website within 2 to 3 weeks. The selected students were notified via SMS and asked for the admission fees and will be called for the verification procedure in the college. After verification the students get further notification within 3-4 weeks about the opening of the college. There are such changes to be done in the admission procedure. It's already a simple process.

In school from the starting onwards I had a liking for English language and literature which I decided to pursue as my career. The faculty is great and very much friendly. They are highly qualified. In total we have 5 professors in our English department. And total number or average number of students in different semester is around 25 to 30. The classes are held according to the routine with a strict emphasis on the attendance. We have our exams within every 6months according to the CBCS system of Calcutta university. The exam level is not to easy or not that difficult but yes it's up to the students capabilities on how much he or she can score.

The fees for my course is at present 4200 while it ranges from 3500-4500 which varies. During lockdown most of the classes were held online on Google meet so during that time the fees was something around 3,200 to 3,500 which is indeed affordable in comparison to other colleges. There are also some financial assistance available for the financially backward students or who can't afford to pay the full fees.

The life at campus is indeed great. We have an annual fest called 'AURA' which is conducted by the college students Union on massive scale where students get the opportunity to show their talents. Apart from this the college organizes a freshers party for new comers. However, due to pandemic we didn't witness a freshers party for almost 2years due to lockdown restrictions. The college also conducts some small social events and blood donation camps frequently. Facilities like library, labs ( computer, geography and science labs), college canteen with affordable food and a small playground is available.
