Students should be passed with a minimum of 75% in 12th The student should have appeared for jee mains Application on Jossa jee main website, fees- 650 for general/ Obc and 350 for girls as well as sc/st/PWD, dates in the month of December If st you can get CSE in rank 200000-300000 No improvement in the admission process

I chose this course because of its placement details. Faculties are enough for the Students Faculties are qualified but some of them lack teaching skills I'm in 1st so I don't know much now but exam timing is ok

Sixth-semester students can avail of placement but students can avail of different on-campus internships also from the 4th semester only Companies visited are quite well such as Google, Microsoft,mind tickle, and many more Good companies. the highest package offered is 60 lakh in CSE/IT branch and its average is 12 LPA. Students of CSE/IT are 95%placed. I can join a good company.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are very high but it's worth it for upper branches such as CSE/IT. Students with good ranks can get 25-100% off in their admission fees as per their ranks. Further, if students do good in academics later in the college also they get some kind of scholarship based on their good cgpa.

Campus Life

several fests are conducted here and many tech fests are also in Jan and other months. There are enough books to be a genius in the library Classrooms are well equipped with sofa seats and a full air conditioner and with proper projector and mics. Every hostel on the campus has a badminton court, a volleyball court, as well an ok space for cricket also. There is a sports complex also where you can get top facilities for playing almost all sports as well as a well-equipped gym also. There are many clubs in here according to your interest you can join any bypassing their interviews.

Hostel Facilities

Rooms are ok with a fan, bed, chair, and table. Meals are healthy and tasty sometimes and you can hire mess secretary (from students) also who can monitor the food quality as per your requirements and mess menu can be changed also after a month or more. Hostel rooms are average bathrooms are always cleaned and it is affordable also.

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass

Overall Experience and all reality of Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi

I had NIT Raipur Chemical Engg, rejected it because I didn't like the campus amenities of the same, zero sports facilities, they play Football on a Red Soil literally. I got this in CSAB and hence it was a better ranked college than NITRR, i've heard of people opting a lower preferred branch in BITM over a branch in NITRR such the brand value of the college. I scored pretty avg in JEE 58k rank so wasn't eligible for all the clgs anyhow. Admission process is pretty simple JOSSA and CSAB. Admission experience is obviously good because why would a clg not welcome a laxmi lol jk....Read More
