Life at Bit Mesra

Fees and Financial Aid:

The tuition fee is on average 3 lakh per year. The hostel fee is 25000 per semester. Bit provides GP Birla scholarship in regards to performance in the end semester examination and Jee Main rank. Currently, I am in 2nd year so I don't have any internships. But in July and August, the companies come for internships.

One should definitely go for BIT Mesra after IIT and BITS.

The fee is around sixteen lakhs for four year BTech degree. This includes mess hostel and everything else. The fee is surely on the higher side but then the return on investment is also great (especially for CSE/IT students). Our college does offer a few scholarships like the GP Birla scholarship where based on JEE rank and SGPA one can get a scholarship. But also keep in mind the fact that the number of scholarships offered is extremely less in number.

BIT Mesra

Total fees of BTech in BIT Mesra is around 14 lakh. You do get a scholarship on the basis of GPA you get, GP Birla Scholarship. You can also opt for external scholarships. There are on-campus internships with a pretty good amount of stipend too.

Fees are very high but it's worth it for upper branches such as CSE/IT. Students with good ranks can get 25-100% off in their admission fees as per their ranks. Further, if students do good in academics later in the college also they get some kind of scholarship based on their good cgpa.
