Underrated College

The admission process was straightforward. Through Jossa, you can easily get into this college. And not just that, if you're from Jharkhand and of the OBC category you can get admission even with a lesser rank. U can find the jossa application form on the jossa website and the special category form from bitmesa ac. in. If you're pwd then you'll get benefits of branch and for special category. I just mentioned it above. The updates we get about the application process are through mail and we're asked to visit the website now and then ..so only this thing in jossa can be improved like getting updates through WhatsApp would be easy.

I chose IT bcoz well I was getting it...I didn't have anything planned before and my brother who did too is passed out from this college referred me here. He was also from IT and got a package of 21 lakhs Microsoft. The faculty-student ratio could be better. Like 80 students per faculty are enough but here we have like 130 (IT + EEE since we have classes together) students per faculty. The faculties are great and the offline teaching methods are awesome. The mid sem exams are a bit tricky but the rest are perfect. Since I belong to the covid batch, we have our 10 marks quizzes after every module.

The internship opportunities are well as I have heard from seniors. And the rest I don't know since I'm in the first year. But you can contact the senior and pass out through LinkedIn. I will definitely recommend you this college and also this website...this website is nice as I got to know about many other colleges through this website.

Students are eligible for campus placement from 6-7semester There are many good companies had offered great packages to many students. Companies such as Google, Microsoft, IBM, Adobe, Goldman scans, and many more offer up to 60 LPA. The highest package is more than 60 lakhs and the average package is up to 18lpa. Up to 90%students are placed in the cs/it branch and those who don't are smart enough to get off-campus placements easily. My plan after the degree is to go towards data science.

The fees are quite high like 16 lakhs including hostel and mess. Scholarships are provided through GP Birla scholarships. I know the fees are high like very high but the campus is gorgeous like the campus. The classrooms and comfortable.

The campus life is awesome. The seniors are helpful. There are several clubs like Rotaract, financial club, is, Acm, etc. You can know about them through their respective website and social media accounts. The library is also great. Specifically for the obc sc st category, you can issue books for 6 months The classroom has all cushion seats and is very comfortable. There are various sports and fest organized events once every month.

The hostel isn't that great and the food is alright...but there are various food stalls on the campus. But one good thing about the mess is that we discuss the menu every month. For first-year, you'll get some double rooms, some triple and single rooms as well.
