Remarks
Through Wbjee / leftover seats are fulfilled by donations. For Wbjee rank should be under 9k tor CSE. College doesn't have a separate exam so no need to find an application, just go to the Wbjee site and apply from there and in counselling, you will get the college through your rank. 3) Reservation is for wb students only, not for other states' students. Others state students are considered general only. 4) Administration should improve the admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview
Interest in CSE and placement is quite good in CSE and the highest package goes above 25 lakhs. 2 -3 faculty for one class subject. All are well qualified in their fields. It's timely and it's manageable to pass.
Placement Experience
From the sixth semester, students are available for placement, and internships are also provided by the college so studious ones may grab the opportunity. A variety of companies visit the campus of amazon, just pay, Wipro, cognizant, TCS, Informatica, l&t, Infosys and many more. The highest placement is approx 30 lakh and the average for CSE is 5.5-6.5 lakhs. Almost all students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for every semester are different but the 4 years fees are 5 lakhs excluding food and hostels. The scholarship is provided for wb students who are financially weak but no financial aid is provided for other state students. All students almost get placed through campus placement.
Campus Life
As the campus is not too big and no hostel is provided under the college as the college is in the main city so campus can't be so big and various clubs are their like edge which is well known in east India. All the clubs are run by students and due to the non-availability of hostels so not so much campus life and sports facilities are there and books are available in the library.
