Eligibility for admission to master's Hons chemistry requires a bachelor's in hons chemistry passed with a minimum of 60% grades. The faculty here is the best. The Department of chemistry is the best in the North region of this university.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course as I had an interest in chemistry subject. All the faculty members are very good at their work involved in renowned research works and their way of teaching is also great. Exams are of pretty level as teachers make full efforts to teach us so they expect to perform well in the examination
Placement Experience
Campus placements are for last year's students. But very less no of companies visited for our course packages were pretty low around 2.5-3lakh per annum. For our department placement are not good. Just Aakash institute was the only one that offered a good package.
Fees and Financial Aid
Every 2 years there is a hike in fees but there are also scholarships for poor students of the general category and BR Ambedkar scholarship for OBC students and also for Sc or St students. I too got a scholarship for 5 years here
Campus Life
There are no clubs in university science clubs movie clubs social work clubs and many more. Fests like youth fest, jashan tech fest exordium, and cheeks happen every year. Interdepartmental and intradepartmental sports were also held.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is good in the price we pay, it depends on which hostel nber u get. Girls hostel 3 is a new building so it is having good rooms but no coolers or ac facility there u have to bring ur own cooler and pay the electricity bill for so. Mess food is not good
