I didn't have to take an entrance exam. I was waiting for DU cut-offs but they were quite high. I found Maitreya, & without a doubt, I knew its the perfect fit for me. But the cut off was a bit high for the score I got. But due to reservation benefits( there was just a slight difference in the cut off), I finally got admission to this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I opted for this course as I wanted to do something in the commerce field. Also, all my research suggested I go for this course. The faculty in this college is just excellent. All the things are done on time, it's a huge campus. I totally love everything about it. The teachers are also quite great & experienced as they always clear our doubts on time. In our 4th semester, this is the first time we gave an offline exam but most of the tests were easy, it was just one exam which I felt was just out of the syllabus. Otherwise, it's good
Fees and Financial Aid
As it's Delhi University, I expected the fees to be less. And in the reality, it's what I actually thought it to be. The fees are very much bearable. The college also provides placements to the students. There is a placement society which provides internships to the students. Also, they have events to organise internship opportunities for the college students. And they also make sure that these internships do consist of a stipend.
Campus Life
College is life is absolutely fun at this campus. Just when our college reopened they organised a huge celebration for women's day which was just so extraordinary when there were no such events happening in any other college. And the celebration was actually vast. Also, there are cafes & clubs near our college in case we need to have fun & socialize. We also have extracurricular activities in our college including sports, dance, art etc.
