This is how the VIIT is!

The admission process is conducted by the Maharashtra CET cell. You have to appear for the MHT-CET exam and on the basis of the score of an exam you get admission here. You can find the application form on the official site of the MHT-CET. The admission process conducted was very smooth but only one time I had to wait for a long time for verification of documents so this can be improved for new students.

At VIIT they give almost 100% placement to the students learning in the Computer Science Course. The Curriculum of the course is up to date with the latest trends in the IT industry. Since it is an autonomous college curriculum is up to date and is updated every year. There are 35 faculty members in our department. So the ratio is like 1:20. The teachers are well qualified all have master's degrees and some have PhD too. And some are perceiving right now. All the exams are conducted on time never a single day delay is caused.

From the third year, internships are offered some have stipends some don't. Roles also differ from company to company as it depends on their business requirements. Some get developers, some analysts, some testing, some in support etc. Projects in financial domains are mostly seen. And after completing the project students get a recommendation letter and completion letter.

From the third-year companies start recruitment and students are eligible for placements. Many Companies' visits to campus total around 250+ companies visiting. Some of them are HSBC, UBS, Veritas, NVIDIA, Accenture, Persistent, Cognizant, etc. The highest package offered was 29 LPA y NVIDIA, and the average package is 6.5 LPA. Almost 100% of students get placed. My plan is to join the company after completing my degree.

I have to pay 119234 Rs per year. being an open category student and as I have taken admission in 2018 I have this many fees. For every new academic year batch, the fees get incremented by 10% of the previous fee. There are various scholarships for the category of students provided by the state government of Maharashtra. And in the third-year students get internships which are paid.

Every year some cultural and technical events are conducted in our college. The Gandharva is the name of the event which consists of several tech and cultural events. Different days like Traditional day, Bollywood day etc are celebrated as well competitions of coding are being held. There is a big library on the college campus which consists of all the technical books as well some other exam preparation books too like UPSC, CDS, GATE, CAT, GRE etc and there are technical as well as social journals. Our classroom consists of Projector, fans, lights, a Green board, etc. Sports like carrom, Table tennis, Kabbadi, Cricket, and Football are played on campus. There are many social groups like EDC, NSS, MESSA, CESA, etc
