CEA has given me a bunch of great friends and taught me a great deal about life, and CEA gives you a lot of chances and opportunities.However the college management is not that great,and the infrastracture is not the best.

I got admission through Kerala Entrance Examination(KEAM).KEAM Rank : 8718I opted this College because it was the best college providing the course I like near my locality and also because of my KEAM rank.
Course Curriculum Overview
The College of Engineering, Adoor, was set up in October 1995 by the Institute of Human Resource Development (IHRD), a Government of Kerala undertaking. The college is affiliated to Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) and recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. Mech,cs ,ec and eee branches are avialable here.I am very well satisfied with our labs and workshop here being the SECOND BIGGEST in KERALA.When it comes to teaching and all its good . We can expect a lot from the teachers. The infrastructure and all is up to the point.
Internships Opportunities
There are no such internship programmes are available in our college right now,but scholarship schemes are available. And lot of companies are coming for placements in our college.
Placement Experience
Many IT companies are coming for placements in our college.The institute has set up a Career Guidance & Placement Unit (CGPU).Students of the institute have been placed in some of the major organisations namely US Technology, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Perot Systems, Accenture, Bosch, L&T, I-flex Solutions, HCL, IBM, Indian Oil and Wipro etc.Getting a job in CEA is a lot more easier provided you have the right skill set.If you start working on it as early as possible, you will be rewarded with great job in campus placements.
College Events
Activities/events such as Sports Meet, Literary Meet, Cultural fests, Annual fests and Technical Fests are organised in the institute.Moreover Music club,dance club,film club etc are active in the college.Also NSS,ALTIUS,IEEE units are working well here.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible, 35000 per year for Govt seat and 65000 per year for management seat. NRI seats are also available.Scholarship schemes and loan facility are also available.

Campus Life
This college is run by the govt. so as every govt college we don't have that much strict in our college. we can enjoy our college life here. When it comes to extracurricular activities, activitiessuch as Sports Meet,art fest, and Tech fest are organised in the institute. Hostel life also good and zero tolerance with regards to gender, ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status.

Canteen is not so good here.and last year a college hostel has been started after a long struggle from students.library has been one of the other positive attraction of our college and i am well satisfied in it.a play ground which is not so big is also av
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is active in our college.Senior students are friendy and helpful. Seniors always help us in alomst everything especially when it comes to extracurricular activities.
Exam Structure
The college is affiliated to Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT). So the exams are conducted by CUSAT. For me exams are not that chilling.
