College management is not at all supportive. You have to do everything by yourself. You have to be very tolerant to bear the rude behaviour of administration sometimes.

I took UPSEE 2012 and scored 404 marks out of a total of 600. Scored 3448 rank in the entrance exam. I opted this college because it was the best college I could have got under this rank as I was not able to clear IIT JEE and in AIEEE ( Rank about 22500) too, I was not getting a good college. The one reason was also the fees which was less as compared to private colleges as this being a state govt. college.

Course curriculum is obsolete which had not changed since ages. Also there is not much guidance as to what should be done to increase someone's interest in the respective stream. Curriculum is basically theory based with not much focus on research or anything such sorts.

No.. Our college doesn't have any provision of any internship/training. You have to arrange everything for yourself if you wish too. However most of the students just grab any internship/training certificate from anywhere somehow without undergoing any in real sense.

Job opportunities are there. TCS and WIPRO are the main recruiters. Apart from them, Lava, Mediatek, Idea, Amazon, Ansal, Greymeter also recruit but not on a very large scale. Most of the bulk get placed in TCS and WIPRO. Indian Army also recruits during the 3rd year.

Technical festival is held under the name EFFULGENCE which is not regular, both due to lack of funds and due to lack of wish. Cultural festival is ANUBHUTI which has the same issue. Sports fest is TVARAN. Photography and Fine Arts Event is organized under the banner - ABHIVYAKTI.

Fee structure is not very much expensive. I paid about 65000 per year along with 28000 of mess. So on average expenses are about 1 lac per year apart fro your monthly expenses. Sultanpur is not that developed so fares to and fro to city are very low.

UP Govt. Scholarship comes for financially weaker students. and also college provides scholarship of Rs 3000/ each for top 5 branch toppers.

Campus life is good. There is on an average 1:5 ratio of girls to boys. Campus is full of trees. So in the scorching heat, you can find some peace beneath the shady trees. Students councils are there like IEI, ISTE, CSI,Literary Council, Cultural Council, Q-Frat etc. which conduct various events throughout the year

Hostel facilities are average but the food is worst. There will be WiFi almost every time with a good speed. Cleanliness will be maintained at least upto satisfactory level but the main problem is the food there which is served in the mess. Nearby dhabas are the main source of food for boys.

Yeah alumni network is good. Every year at least one alumni meet is properly organized which is mostly administered by the students.

Exams structure is more or less same as other colleges. During every semester, sessionals are held twice followed by end semester exams. Labs are not very frequent as there is not much stuff in the labs. Practical examinations are just mere formalities.

After appearing for UPSEE, had to go for counselling, to get myself allotted this college. I had to report at the college to get myself into the college after proper document verification and fees submission. However not much proper procedure is there of document verification. It was a just a mere formality.

Faculty members are themselves very much educated but they are not able or let me say they are not interested in imparting their knowledge to the students. Interest development in the subject is the main aim of the teacher/professor which was not at all their aim.
