Remarks

Overall the experience was good and did not face any problems as such. Staff is friendly and co-operative and willing to extend help always. Any issues are dealt with caution and provided necessary assistance and guidelines are there for any untimely help

Entrance Preview

I joined the course after getting AIEEE scorecard and preferred bhubaneswar location as was near to my home and find Krupajal Engineering college to be great choice though it was pretty new at that time. have enjoyed studying there for 4 years

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was at par with the colleges in india and was approved by AICTE. It included the basic courses for engineering and from 2nd year onwards were moved to specialized courses required for the stream which you choose.

Internships Opportunities

College will help us with internship and will provide the recommended details with the letter to to be submitted to companies. Though stipend details will be available with the company you choose to intern with.

Placement Experience

Currently the college is providing great placement opportunities with leading companies as TCS, CTS, Infosys, tech Mahindra coming for campus placement and salary range between 3.5 lakhs to 8 lakhs per annum

College Events

There was a great team and support from management for all the extra curricural activities with approvals for any kind of festivals which should not hinder day to day curriculum

Fees and Financial Aid

All the leading banks provide the loan and there is also cell inside premises for any queries and help regarding same

Campus Life

Extracurricular, labs, sports, competitions such as robotics, debates etc. Are available and up to the mark. Students can provide their views and can become members of respective community.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel accomodation and food is good and is at par with most of the other colleges around and is healthier.

Exams are conducted properly and there is ample lab space and oppurtunity for students to study and gain practical experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .
