Placement is provided in our college. They are connected with so many more companies day by day. I also got placed in a very good company. I think this college is best on Placement. Teachers gave training to students and conduct CONVERSATION, GROUP DISCUSSION, PERSONNEL COUNSELING, MOTIVATIONAL TALK, PLANNING & GOAL SETTING, RESUME PREPARATION etc in training.

College Events

College celebrates so many festivals like:- Dhanak – The Cultural Fest, Burust-2016 – The RCET Talent Fest, Onam – Onam Celebrations etc and all the students took part in these events and enjoyed a lot.

Campus Life

Campus life is amazing, this college runs a fleet of buses for transporting students to and from the city and to other areas. Public transport buses and trains also ply to points near the campuses. This campus has beautiful infrastructure with lush green and clean area. You can feel the natural air in this campus.

Hostel Facilities

Separate hostel facility is provided for both boys and girls with the choice of A/C or non A/C rooms. The hostels are well furnished with common facilities like study room, television, internet, washing machine, indoor and outdoor games and telephone. Both hostels are supported with stand-by generators to meet any emergency break-down of power supply.

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
