Remarks

My admission process was online mode. I found the application form and application related every details from the college website. I haven't availed any reservation benefits so, i m unknown of it. The admission process of the college was smooth and fine for me so, i don't have any suggestions for it.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have choose B.Tech in Electronics and Communication engineering because from my school days i was attracted towards this domain and i got the brach for which I have opted. In the college the faculty:student ratio is approx 1:120. Here highly qualified faculties are present of doctrate, master, bachelor posts. Colleges take 4 terminal exams 2 semester each i.e., Midterm and EndTerm with average level of difficulty.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Placement Experience

Here the students gets their placement very early to the 4rth year or Some also get at end of the 3rd year. here several companies visits like WIPRO ,INFOSYS ,SPIKEWELL ,SILTECH ,TCS ,SEVYA , TECHMAHINDRA ,IBM ,and many more. Here the highest package goes between 20-30 LPA and the average package is 5.5 LPA. 80-90% students get their placements and many goes for higer studies. Till now I don't have any plans I will take my degree wuth a JOB and continue with it.

Fees and Financial Aid

About Fees the fees is approx pocket friendly for a normal middle class family for now, but if from now the fee raise it may be make problem for the middle class family. Till now I haven't applied for any scholarship or haven't any internship.

Campus Life

The Campus life is weel and good, the environment of the college is very good. The annual fest of the college is ZYGON which a huge cultural fest followed by an techfest known as NOYSIS. Many more fests are also organised by the several clubs of the college. Here thee library is very useful, books are availabel,e-library is availabel, and also reading room is their for student. Class are both connected to virtual board and green board. Different sports are being played here with fabulous ground facility and different cultural and extracurricular activities are done here like, UNPLUGGED(for music and instrumrnts), DANCE, SWITCH CLUB(for coding), ED CELL(for entrepreneurship) and many more...

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .
