Entrance Preview

Direct Admission based on class 12th marks. It's ok if you have JEE Marks as well. You need a minimum of 65% in class 12th to get admitted in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

The course is average. Focus on Research is very less and anyone hardly talks about doing something new. Harly anyone encourages studying anything out of course syllabus. syllabus is also not revised and outdated. Irrelevant things are taught. Teachers lack vision and interest of teaching. The classroom is boring and everyone cries for 75% attendance. There isn't ant atmosphere for Computer Engineering or coding.

Internships Opportunities

In this aspect, we have a plus point. This is a very internship friendly college. We can do the internship at Campus Bussiness Park at the University Campus itself but again for Computer Engineering students you would hardly find any back-end project. But they encourage you to go for internships.

Placement Experience

4

Placements and job opportunities are good as compared to other private colleges. Almost all students from Computer Engineering department got placed this year but the average package is very less. Highest packages goes around 4-5 lacs from the campus and average package ranging around 2-2.5 lac.

College Events

1

Several extra events are held at this University. One event doesn't even ends and others preparation starts. But then again while participating in these events brings your grade down and may even lead to detention as they hardly provide attendance for event preparation.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees--- 1,20,000 Hostel AC-- 1,20,000 Hostel Non AC-- 63,000 Transportation(if required by you)-- 12,000 Fess is not much. This is a feasible fee and university charges nominally. They charge 1000 or 1500 for Supplementary exams and 4500 or 5000 for special supplementary exams.

Campus Life

2

The course is average. Focus on Research is very less and anyone hardly talks about doing something new. Harly anyone encourages studying anything out of course syllabus. syllabus is also not revised and outdated. Irrelevant things are taught. Teachers lack vision and interest of teaching. The classroom is boring and everyone cries for 75% attendance. There isn't ant atmosphere for Computer Engineering or coding.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel facility is good. You have 14 hostels at the campus. Every hostel has rooms with two beds. Wifi with speed of 2.5 Mbps is provided at hostels. Food provided in mess is average. Cleanliness is an issue as the sweepers are not willing to clean rooms by themselves. They won't visit until called and are mostly processing with a lame excuse.

Alumni/Alumna

Rarely anyone helps others.

Exam Structure

Exams structure is not at all chilled out. Students start cramming the source texts 20 days before exams. Sitting in the library and reading just to pass the semester is a common scenario. The topper here doesn't have any practical knowledge of coding. The backbenchers may score less in exams due to exam pattern of the university but are the better computer engineer. It is easy to score decent marks around or above 8 CGPA.

Admission

I searched for the university that takes admissions on basis of class 12th marks and my preference was a University near Delhi. So after searching through various blogs like Career 360, I came across this University and to query status of the university I submitted my Phone Number. The next day I got a call from admission branch and they asked few questions about my marks. After a talk of 5-10 min, I was invited for a campus visit for the admission process and was also advised to hurry up as they had few seats. At campus, I was greeted by the staff from admission department who helped me buy form that cost Rs 1000 and after filling the form and successful verification of documents I went on to see hostel and other facilities. Within few hours I transferred the fees and got my admission confirmed the same day.

Faculty

0.5

Faculties of the college are dull and outdated. They lack vision and interest of teaching. They are there just because its there job. Most of them can hardly teach anything that's not written in the book. The college sometimes provides Industrial trainer that has experience as well as knowledge but only for few subject. Cramming is focused rather than practical knowledge and implementation.

Still it is new college you know that there is no certain records of placement. I am from 2nd batch of this college. But I would say it will provide enough good packages. In 2nd year you have to sit for internship as per the curriculum of this college. so out of 107 seniors, 85 students grabbed intership from the 2nd year. We hope we also be able to grab internship in 3rd year.

So the students can sit for placements right after their completion of 6th semester. The Campus also invites a wide number of companies in the college for placements and a lot of students get placed. Although the placement is not too high.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am in the computer science and engineering branch. I want to be a software developer and I am passionate about coding and I love to code that's why I am chosen this branch. The faculty members of my college are awesome and helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They cooperate with students in every situation . they focus much on the weak student so they can also pass the exam. they use the blackboard and smart classes both to teach the student effectively. we have industrial exposure also. the well built spacious will have no importance if not for the wonderful faculty the college has. All are faculty members are highly knowledgeable and done their post graduation from one of the top colleges like IITS. and most of the teachers are GATE qualified and even it is not once. they are writing the exam regularly. so, if you prepare for the GATE exam, then you can get great help from them. they used to prepare us for the GATE exam, along with academics

Remarks:

I am a Delhite and my college is on outskirts of Delhi and also i being residing near du north campus used to think i will enjoy the same college life. but being into a professional (b.tech) course gave me a different view of college and its life. i came to know how to lead a professional ethic life, learnt some good meaningful things.college management is getting strict day by day for laws against students but the other tasks like things that need to be get done from peon are not getting done. ac's dont work even after complaints. in total the college needs a great improvement else it will keep running the business with no fruits.
