Remarks

The admission is through MHT CET. The grouping for Maths, Chemistry, and Physics should be 50% marks combined in three of them for eg you have to score at least 150 out of 300 combined in these 3 subjects. The application form and application dates are provided on the college website and for fee structure, one has to visit the college. The admission process should be a bit more convenient for students.

Course Curriculum Overview

Information Technology course provides placements and has great versatility. The student ratio is 3:7 i.e girls: boys. The faculty is quite qualified (Mostly M. TECH and Ph.D.). The exams are at an interval of around 1.5 months. Studying one or two days prior to the exam can be sufficient to pass the examination.

The average on-campus placement package ranges up to 3-4 LPA and the highest this year is said to be around 20 LPA. Most of the students here opt for higher education and student here mostly don't depend upon campus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee hike is about 3-5% every year. The fees for OPEN candidates is about 80k annually. The scholarships are the ones that are provided by the Government of Maharashtra. The financial assistance for the students is negligible. There are not as Campus Opportunities here.

Campus Life

The campus life is not that special. The annual fest did not take place this year. There are books available for college subjects in the library. The sports and extracurricular activities don't carry much weight in this Institute.

NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. Placement Experience:

In Kit college their are some rules for placement drive. In 7th sem companies started to visit our college. During my placement my engineering percentage is around 70 and I am able to attend every drive. Once student get placement offer from one company that student is not allowed to apply next company which package is near to previous company. Placement in Kit college in my year is 70 to 75%. The unplaced students have decided to go for MS.

SAKEC- best college ever

Placement Experience:

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

It is a great college for learning

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.

Best in the neighborhood, convenient to reach , easily accessible for all the student's , good faculty and good quality of education, amenities available are great along with the essential facilities. Life in GECA, not so good but still you enjoy it.

Due to the reputation of being a government college and autonomous status and also due to city vibes, I chose this one. I was getting private pune engineering colleges but the fees and other expenses dosen't make sense to the features they provide. You need to give mhtcet examand score maybe 90+ percentile to make your sure your place. And cutoff for tech branches of cse, it, ENTC is pretty high. Minimum 95 percentile is required....Read More
