Good college for study

My seniors got placed in TCS ,WIPRO , Mediatek companies . They got 3 lakh package from TCS and 7 lakh from WIPRO. Aroud 70 students were placed in TCS. One of my seniors got 13th rank in GATE exam. Overall the placement for CS,IT,MCA is satisfying (around 25-30%). Wi-Fi and internet facility is 24 hours. Electricity supply is also 24 hours. medical facility is also good and one ambulance is reserved for students 24 hours. classrooms are big and they have ACs. Labs are good and they have all the naccessary equipments within them. Food is not really good but it is decent. Overall infrastructure is satisfying. Faculty is really helpful except some professors. most of the facuty are atleast MTech or Phd. they teach in classrooms and suggest materials on internet . Projectorss are used where they are needed. The course curriculum is not too useful but good . It is an Autonomous institute affiliated to AKTU. The industry exposureis not provided. KNIT is an autonomous college and it makes question papers and the result by their own. Placement for CS,IT,MCA is good. But for the core branches it is nill . Ekectronics students get placed in Wipro and one or more other companies. For EE the study is too good. Management can be made good. This is the area where we can do better.

I took UPSEE(Lateral Entry). I secured 376 rank. I opted out for this college for the rank I scored.

Course curriculum of AKTU isn't that good. its not dynamic. though my college(KNIT) is Autonomous. they have their own syllabus. but is almost same to AKTU. Course curriculum is based on as proposed by AKTU. Though we students think that some of the subjects must be eliminated and some should be added. there should be more attention on practicals . college should provide industry exposoure.

NO. Our college don't provide internships. students find internships or summer trainings by their own.

ANUBHUTI which is a cultural event is celebrated in our college in every two years. In this fest there are many events like Kavi sammelan , DJ night , A well known singer sings for us , and many more events. TVARAN is an another fest. It is a gaming fest. EFFULGANCE is an another fest. it is a technology based fest.

Fee structure is good , not so expensive. if you are lucky than you can get scholarship and fee return. institution fee = 40000 institution caution money = 5000 enrollment and exam fee = 5500 student welfare and development fee = 550 hostel fee = 10000 hostel caution money = 1000 user charges = 12300 total fee to be paid = 74350

Scholarship is given by the college on the rank basis. it is worth of 3000 rs. students can take loans from the banks which are in our college. UP government gives scholarship to eligible candidates that includes fee return too.

Campus life is awesome here. seniors are helpful.extracurriculam activities are performed in CSA hall. every branch have their own tech fests.Labs are good . Sports is in a good condition in our college. students take part in sports fests of other colleges. competition of robotics and debates are held occasionaly.

Food is not really good. hostel charges = 10000 per year and 1000 caution money. mess fee = 14000 pe semester plus one time caution money that is 5000 and returnable.

senior students are really helpful. Alimni network is really good. the contribute by money for the wellfarement of our college. in many fests the participate as guests and helps college by money. also a alumni meet is held every year.

Exam structure is really good. As it is an autonomous college so they make time tables by their own for exams. Labs are not so boring. we have ACs in CSE and IT department in labs. Labs are of two hours a week for each subject. we have two teachers for 30 students in the lab. every class is divided into two groups.

I applied in UPSEE exam. when the results were out , then there was a notification on website for online counselling. before counselling , there was offline document verification. after counselling , I was allotted KNIT and we have to report in the institution with the fee on scheduled date. the college administration was nice and helpful. there was no problem during admission process.

Faculty is atleast Btech qualified. Government professors are Mtech or Phd. to teach a particular course , the faculty is not so interested but there are some professors and some guest faculty who are always helpful in. they can guide through your studies and guide you to the knowledge.
