Entrance Preview

For taking admission in our university in B.Sc course. Candidate must have passed HSC (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized Board, securing minimum 50% marks in the aggregate of all subjects. English as a subject is compulsory.

Fees and Financial Aid

In the admission form university provide information about the loan that loan to be provided by the university to needy students, but I have never availed it.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, and the hostel timings were strict both for boys and girls, hence at night time there used to be very less interference from outside people and disturbance within campus. The hostel environment was good and it’s mixed of different culture, giving scope for everyone to evolve and progress in their career path.

Alumni/Alumna

In hostels as well as for the regular day scholar, seniors guided us for the exams, placement opportunities and many other tasks which were completely new for us. There is a wide network of the alumni of our university which helped us a lot during our campus placement preparation as well as for joining the job on the first day.

From 6 sem th students are eligible for campus placement, there were many companies which gave the placement in this college like eg infosys, biochroma, thakur polytechnic etcthe higesh package was about 11 lpa and average was about 5 lpa , about 80 percent students got the placements but my plan after getting the degree was to do masters

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

The Campus Story : the lands of horror.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
