Remarks

See bad thing will be that if management does not do work as per you. I don't think that any activity which management do for us or for anyone is bad, and ultimately I learned that all thing are good, if we learned something from that.

Entrance Preview

I gave UPTU to get admission in any good government college but my rank was 17412 and I am from general category that's why I did not get any government college, my option was from private college, that's why I took admission in KIET

Course Curriculum Overview

5

KIET is no doubt better than other private colleges, especially in Ghaziabad. In the first year, all students of all the branches are mixed and study as because in the second year, when students separate as per their branches, a student of other branches know other branch's student that will help the student to make friendly environment. No doubt college focus on all the subjects equally for all the students too.

Internships Opportunities

No, KIET does not provide any kind of internship program in our college but yes many students get opportunities for taking an internship as per their marks and college name.

Placement Experience

4

I will talk only about my passing year batch because that I will describe better than other years. In 2016 around, 200 companies visited on our campus but most companies are of software background. If you are willing to take admission in CS/IT branch, then you will 99% placed but also other branches have opportunities.

College Events

5

1. EPOQUE- Cultural fest which is celebrated every year mostly in March. One singer will always come as a celebrity. I remain in college for four years and the celebrity which came were Benny Dayal, K.K., Neha Kakkar, and Kanika Kapoor. It is celebrated for 2 days. Events which are organized are the Fashion show, solo dance, singing, group dance, singing, musical show, street painting and much more. 2. TECHNICAL FEST- It is celebrated every year. Gaming, project competition, poster making are major events. 3. LITERARY FEST- It is also celebrated every year. Play, Poster making, etc are main events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

When I was in college the fee that college took was around 1 lakhs. I don't think that this is expensive, they took 8K as security when I took admission. Hostel fees is around 80K, which is different in 1st year because the hostel for first year boys is not in campus, this is for security as a senior can not do ragging.

Fees and Financial Aid

if a student got more than 70% marks in odd and even semester of a particular year then Yes, at the end of every year the marks obtained in 2nd semester is subtracted from first semester's marks and the amount of scholarship will be 100 rupees per percentage. There is not any loan facility provided by college.

Campus Life

5

Gender ratio is not exact 10:10 but yes it is 7:10. It means if there are total 20 students, 7 are girls and 10 are boys. Every year there are lots of extracurricular activities organized in our college e.g. literary fest, technical fest and small events which are organized in classes. Labs are very well managed and has much area to study more than 100 students at a time. Sports fest is always organized every year and Inter college competitions also organized in our college. A robotics team is there in our college and a workshop SAPRO ROBOTICS also present on campus and at the time of technical fest, debate competitions, robotics competitions and so many competitions organized in our college at a great level.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facility is good. For first year students, hostel's location is different from all other year's students as because of ragging. The mess food is also good but not as of home. All 7 days will different menu in breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hostel fee is around 80K per year.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni, I don't think that it is important, but yes our college has a wide alumni network in which more than 1000 students are available. But personally, I don't think it is helpful.

Exam Structure

Exams handle 4 times every semester. There are 2 sessionals, they are also called as class test(but different from school class test... hahaha) and rest 1 is presem equal to preboard and one in the final exam which will be at the ending of the semester or you can say board exam. So totally exam will happen 8 times per year, 32 times in the full B.Tech program.

Admission

As I described above I got admission through UPTU entrance exam and my 12th percentage i.e. 93% and the procedure is as follows: 1. They gave you a specific date to come. 2. On that day, they assign you a counselor and follow all process like collect cheque of the fee, provide id for college and all.

Faculty

4

All the faculties are masters and some are doctorates as well. There are generally 3 sections in a year of a particular branch and the main thing is that for one subject, there are at least 2 teachers for a subject. The teachers also help in building extracurricular activities, time to time, events organize in our college and teachers accelerate us to participate in those activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.
