I took the Kerala entrance examination to get in to Sset , I got 11000 rank and I opted this college as it is one of the best college in kerala.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is more over theory based.we have to mug up a lot of theory for understanding the course and also the curriculum is outdated.I want the curriculum to be more over a hand on experience and for the exam we a=have to mug up every thing so that it done
Internships Opportunities
No the college does not provide internship for internships we have to approach the companies .Its really difficult to get good internships with stipend
Placement Experience
The placements are good by there is only little core companies that come most of the companies are software firms .The companies come to the college during the fourth year ,It really difficult to get in .There are different procedures getting the job
College Events
Vipancika ,its a cultural festival,Ascendio 2.0 is a technical Event. Onam celebration,Holy Celebration, vipanchika is an intracollege fest and had a lot of participants,Ascendio 2.0 has about 300 participants and they are all assigned to different parts.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure 65000 hostel fee 10000 placement fee 1600 hostel 3300 mes total expense for the entire 4 years is 4,75,000 . The fee in this college for govenment quota is 65000 and for management is 155,000; and a deposit of 1,00,000 which is refundable.

Loan facilities are all provided by the banks not through college .The are a lot of caste related scholarships and normal scholarships offed my the college.
Campus Life
The campus life is good My we only have one festival for an year and also the technical fest is only 1 time in a gap of 3 years.we have a lot of Clubs like IEEE ,H2o ,NSS, etc for Doing extracurricular activity,We have games but Athletic sports are not there.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is good but the mess food is not so good .We share a 3 bed room with there tables and chair.The rent per month is 1600/- and for mess 3300 for non veg and 3000 for veg.We can go and come to the hostel as we please.All the hostel staffs are friendly people.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network of college is really active .Recently we had an alumini meet at dubai.The senior students are really helpful they provide us with a lot of Placement details.
Exam Structure
The exam structure are not stable ie some times we get exam with proper dates and they get postponed .The lab exam are conducted are few days after the theory exam The exam are mainly with question that are asked in most of the old question paper.Its a real tough structure.
Admission
The admission process was simple initially i got in to Adi sankar institute during my first allotment then during the second allotment I got in to Scms the entire admission process was carried out at scms school of engineering and technology ,karukutty.In the admission process I have to submit all my documents and also pay all deposits .Then the respective class was Given .
Faculty
The college faculty is excellent they are all dedicated teacher with passion for teaching Engineering with all there effort.There are individual teachers for different subjects and also the teachers provide us with all the Note for the university exams
