admission is done through the Kerala entrance, and application forms are available from the Kerala state board website with an application fee. reservations will be available for sc st candidates and also will be available for students who have got higher rankings in the entrance examinations.

I chose this course because I had a liking for engineering. the faculty-student ratio for our college was 1:60. faculties were ok but not all of them, some were new faculties with no experience which made some problems. exams were a bit tough due to the syllabus of the university.

Fees and Financial Aid

fees are a super govt standard only and the books are also costly. the fees hike will ve only as per govt approval. there was no options for campus placement here. scholarships will be available on a government basis only, financcial assistance will be provided for sc st students.

Campus Life

college life is good. library facilities were good also. there will be a lot of extra curricular activities in the form of arts and science available in the college. there are a lot of cultural activities available also. amenities are ample enough for students.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

MEA engineering college review

I choose this college because it near by my house and I always wanted go there . I applied for mea engineering college and computer science and I got the same college but different stream that is IT. Which is also good. They rejected because first I got a college in Kollam and rejected because it too far. And next allotment I got my second priority college. The admissions process actually nice. Not tireding first I apply for management seat then I got merit Quota.
