Remarks

Eligibility is 12th with science One can get admission through Wbjee and jee main There is a reservation benefit available Admission is done through the online process very easy. I have no problem while counselling

Course Curriculum Overview

This is a professional course, I love the subjects So I choose this, very interesting course one can pursue. the student-teacher ratio in my college is 30:1. Most of the faculty have m pharm degrees from private universities.

Class Size: 4500Course Fees: INR 390000 per year

Placement Experience

8th-semester students become eligible for campus placements. Sun Pharma, nestle, and Himalaya visited & no of the offers made were 36. highest and average package as per company and profiles offered was 600000/ year 50% of students got placement. I would go for higher education.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no fee hike. The cost of the study is 390000 in 4 years. One can take an education loan to pursue the course I have available money so I needed not to take an education loan. I also got an Oasis scholarship

Campus Life

the annual fest & tech fest is Pharmbuzz and they are conducted in January or February when there is a semester break. Annual sports organised by students we enjoy it A social group is also there but no one should join it

Placement Experience:

Placement are not so good but I can confirm you that if you are good in studies then you will have a min package of 50LPA .Every pharma companies in india or out india contains our alumnis as well as you will get a polite and respectful behaviour in every company after knowing you r passed out from Iopj .

This is the oldest Pharmacy college in India

Remarks:

The college is a good college it is situated beside the district hospital and there is morgue beside it. So students will se many dead bodies been taken. This may be problem for weak heart students. But I thing for a pharmacists he/she should be able to see dead bodies.

Institute of Pharmacy, Jalpaiguri is the 1st Pharmacy college in Asia. This is the only one government college in West Bengal. Labs infrastructure is very poor. 100% Placement are done. Our college is very good Pharmacy college in India.
