Admission process is very simple it is through jossa website, according to your preference fill up the college then you will get the college according to the your rank and cut off. Open the nta websites then there you will get link to fill the form, fill up your correct detail and pay the fee . Fee are as follow: SC/ ST and Girls - 325 Rs General/ OBC- 650 Rs Admission process is easy to follow, but in addition a video process is also to be available at the website so that it will be easy to student , how to fill form and fill up college in counseling right.

As my preferred branch is CSE but due to my rank , i have got IT branch and cse and it is similar to each other so it was also good branch. As i want go for software engineer so need a coding branch, it was the main reason to opt for this branch. There enough teachers in the college around 200:1is the student : faculty ratio. The teaching is good enough but not upto the mark as some of are inexperienced teachers which are on contract based. At the end you have to study by your own. Teacher mainly focus front benchers in class. But there are some good teachers who makes good environment in class so that each student is active and listen carefully. Now, semester is reduced to 3 months, after one and half months mid term is taken and after 3 months major are taken. Paper are not easy you have study hard to get good score.

Internships are the most for engineering students as they provide them knowledge and learning and not only this also a achievement to mention in resume. If you want to do internship you can do by college itself or outside. Some of the are paid and some are free and some are chargeable. In this at last you will be provided with project which will teach you how to perform work and how efficiently. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, Samsung etc. Provide an on-campus internship that will give you immense learning and experience.

This year 2022 the highest package offered was 42 lakhs per anum from cse and IT branch and around 8.2 lakh per anum was the average package and lowest package of 5 lakh per anum is offered. Placement is offered from companies like Google, Microsoft, Bhel etc. College is getting better day by day as placement was increasing each year as 2021 the highest package was 22 lakh but this year 2022 we have 42 lakh package. Every student who opted for placement got offer from companies. You can also pursue higher studies like Mtech or any other degree. Or UPSC &IES exam etc. Around 15 % students opted for higher studies. My aim to get good placement so i will go for placement.

Fess structure : 12000 security deposit ( refundable) 6500 one-time registration (non-refundable). The above both are compulsory to all. For general students: 146000/yr tution fee For Sc/St and income below 1 lakhs has a 100% tuition fee waiver. For income 1- 5 lakh income, they only have to submit 1/3 rd of tuition fee. Hostel and mess fee is the same for all it was 8000 & 1000 security deposit and 21000 per semester respectively. Price hikes may see every year. Scholarships are alprovided by the college, you have to apply at nsp portal then it will verify by the college and you may avail the scholarship. It may vary on which scholarship you opt for. You can also avail state scholarship. Overall, the fee structure is good and reliable and affordable.

Nit Srinagar was listed in most beautiful campus in India. Life is so good in campus that you will never regret. In college fest is also conducted here called " Techvaganza". It is not conducted now due to covid hopefully it will resume shortly. Library is also there to study effectively, there are many books both related to college syllabus and for competitive exams like gate etc. Newspaper are also provided. You can also issue books for one month by your identity card and if you need more than one month re- issue it every month. Classroom are good and highly ventilated and has capacity 100+ students. Every sports is played in college like cricket, volleyball, basketball, badminton etc. Many competition are conducted for students like marathon, football league etc. There are many clubs in college around 14-15 like ( coding, gaming, singing etc.). You can easily join them. The club head will take your interview if you passed then you will be the members of that club.

Hostel facility is available in college by 8000/per semester or 16000 / year. The rooms are good and highly ventilated and warm also. During winter rooms are warm but you need to buy blankets ( cambal , rajai). You also have buy your own mattress and pillow and bedsheet. Here there are 10 hostels in which 2 are girls and 8 are boys hostel. Boys get a different hostel each year. Each hostel has its separate mess. The capacity of rooms depends on the students it can be 4,5,6. Now it is 5. Food is not so good and not so bad. Time table is provided to student as per time table the food is made.They also have a special menu during weekends and festivals.
