Firstly we need to apply for the jacket entrance test (fees 1200 in 2020 ) which is filled around may month after that an exam is conducted and a rank list is uploaded on the website of the jamboree and according to the ranks students are called for counseling and then we can choose the course according to seats available. In my time a student with a rank up to 700 under the general category got admission in civil. The exam level was easier than jee mains and focusing on quantity rather than the quality of preparation is more important.

I choose civil engineering because I have an interest in designing buildings, and superstructures. The faculty-to-student ratio is good in getting Jammu and the faculty is well qualified but the problem is about the infrastructure which is not good in my good. We do not have any smart boards in our and the class is congested. If the whole class attends the college it will not be possible for all to get seated comfortably. And in summers it becomes worse. Exams are moderate and if you focus you will pass.

Fees for college per semester are around 16000 and it is the same for all semesters. I didn't get any scholarships. I haven't seen any price hike during my course. Fees are less compared to other colleges.

The college conducts camps and an annual fest. During my time they conducted a survey camp in July and it was a great experience for me. The College library is good and the books available are really useful for students and it is air-conditioned as well. Some classes are provided with the smart board but not all. In my branch, there is a civic tech club that students can join.
