Honest Overview

The admission process at Delhi university is very smooth. You have to apply online by registering on the Delhi University portal. Then according to the merit list of the percentage of class XII, Delhi university releases cut off of the different colleges that come under the Delhi University for the various courses of Arts, Commerce, And Science Background, and according to the cut-off, the student can visit the respective college in the given timeline and can take the admission. But, now the process has changed. Delhi University has started taking the Entrance Exam, CUET, for admission to the corresponding colleges.

I choose BSc(honors) in Computer Science because I am fascinated and very much interested in the Computer field. Moreover, I choose to pursue it at Delhi University because the curriculum of the course at DU is extremely awesome that provides basic knowledge of almost every field in Computer Science. Moreover, the strength of Delhi University is its extremely talented Faculties. Apart from being knowledgeable, faculties are very supportive at each stage of your life that will be spent inside the college. The faculty to Student ratio is around 1:50. All the faculties are Doctorate qualified and have very good teaching techniques. There are 6 terms in the 3 years curriculum and some internal exams. The difficulty levels of exams are the nearest high provided that you listen to the lectures carefully and attentively.

Internships offered to the students by the college are mostly through the platform of "Internshala". The college has a tie-up with Internshala. So it provides the offers to the students that are relevant on the Internshala.

Students become eligible for campus placements in the 5th semester i.e in the last year. Various companies visit the college including Wipro, Infosys, TCS, etc. In undergraduate, most of the students opt for post graduation and very few opt for placements, and those who opt for, almost every one of them get placed by the college.

The fee structure of the college is very decent and very affordable. It barely suffers any hike and the college tries to keep fees static and affordable so that every student can pay the fees with no difficulty. Besides this, the college also offers various kinds of scholarship programs based on the categories, gender(for females), meritorious students, etc.

The annual fest that occurs in the college is "Leiothrixx". Besides this, many departmental fests and events are organized in the college. The library is very good in the college. It has a smart library which is very big and has a separate air-conditioned reading room. Sports and other activities are also encouraged among students. Various clubs like NSS are also very active.
