Its a good college. It is accredited by NBA. It is also accredited by NAAC with A grade. As per NIRF ranking by MHRD, Govt of India GITA is the 5th best college in Odisha where the 1st and 2nd position are bagged by NIT, Rourkela and IIT, Bhubaneswar respectively.

I took admission on the basis of my score in JEE (Main). I took admission in this college because it is the best private college in Odisha.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is very good. Some value added courses are introduced for the benefit of the students. It is accredited by NAAC with A grade. It is also accredited by NBA. Academic standards are rock solid and is improving day by day. Proctorial system is successfully introduced. The proctors contact the students as well as their parents from time to time.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, Almost all students undergo summer internship after 2nd year and after 3rd year. They do not get any stipend during internship. But they get very good experience which helps them a lot at the time of campus interview.
Placement Experience
In my batch more than 80 % students got placed through campus placement. Around 15 % students opted for higher studies. The minimum package was 2.4 lakhs per annum and maximum package was 12 lakhs pa. 53 Companies visited the college this year for campus placement.

Fee Structure And Facilities
Free structure is reasonable. Tuition fee is Rs 78000 per annum and hostel fee is Rs. 55000 per annum. Food quality is ok but not so good. Less oil and less spice should be used. Fee is feasible and it is not expensive as compared to other colleges
Fees and Financial Aid
All the SC, ST students get scholarship. All other students having 50% marks in class 12 also get scholarship.Institute also provide scholarship to the students securing highest mark in each semesters.

Hostel Facilities
All the hostels are inside the college campus. All the amenities are available inside the campus. Mess food is ok but not so good. Less oil and less spice should be used. Two, three and four seated rooms are available. Around 70 % students are staying in the college hostels
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni meet is conducted once in a year. Alumni Association conducts different competitions and distribute prizes to the students.
Exam Structure
There are two semesters in a year and two internal exams per semester. If a student attends all the classes regularly, then there is nothing to worry for the exam. It is very easy to score very high CGPA. "100% attendance and zero black papers" is the motto of the college.

It is approved by AICTE, New Delhi. It is also approved by DSIR, Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India as a Scientific and Research Organisation.
Faculty
Faculty members are highly qualified and experienced. They are ever ready to extend their helping hand at any time we need. Many of them are Ph.D. holders. They take care of each and every students as their own children. Proctorial system is successfully introduced. The proctors inform the parents about the activities of the student from time to time.
