If not NIT then JCBUST. Is very nice option.

The admission is based on the JEE Mains exams, counseling for which is done by HSTES in 3 rounds. And after that, if the seat is vacant in any course then physical counseling is conducted by the college. Talking about reservation, like any other government college seats are reserved for OBC, ST, and SC, ex-servicemen, etc. The home state quota is also there.

I am doing Btech in Information Technology from JCBUST. The faculty of our department is very chill. Every teacher is very helpful. Talking about their teaching method, teachers do not do just formality over here. They teach us like a tuition teacher in school time used to teach. Yes, some teachers in every college do formality and the number of this kind of teachers, talking about computer department, is very less. Every teacher is a Ph.D. holder. Talking about the examination we have two mid-semester exams in between the final exam. Easy to pass if you study well. One thing which I like about my college is that they show our answer sheet to us for every exam so that we will be able to know what is our mistake.

Being a first-year student I do not know that much about internship opportunities but yes almost every student does an internship at least in their third year. Some students of my batch who is in the first year have also got the internship.

College offers you placement and many good companies came into the college. Many government companies also hire students. The average package is 7 lakhs and the highest is 40 lakhs. Companies like Amazon, TCS, Samsung, and Wipro. , BHEL and Adobe came to our college. And many more companies are there. I am also planning to get the highest package from the college. Which is generally in Amazon or Samsung. Almost every student of CS and IT git placed placement of other branch is quite good but not that much good as compared to CS and IT.

As it is a government college fees are very less. Talking about my course fee then it is 85k per year. There are a lot of scholarships and much financial assistance in college. Talking about the placement then the average package varies from branch to branch. If I talk about CS and IT it is 7 lakh. The rest of the branch is nearly about 5.5 - 6 lakh. The placement is very good. Many companies came to our college. The highest package on campus placement goes up to 40 lakh.

The campus area of our college is very small, just 22 acres. So not that much campus life is what we enjoy. But there are many clubs in the college to enjoy the campus life and all the fun happens in the clubs. There are clubs for every kind of thing i.e. art and craft, yoga, sports, coding, physics, drama, poetry, and many more. So if you want to come to our college then do not forget to join the clubs.
