Admission to this college is on JEE Mains basis. You have to apply for JAC Chandigarh Counselling after releasing of JEE Mains result. There are also many seats reserved for categories like a single child, defense sector, and EWS.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because the on-campus placement ratio is good at this college. The faculty is highly educated and almost all faculty members have done their Ph.D. The teaching method of teachers are also good some gives handwritten notes and some teachers give a soft copy of notes. We have 2 internal exams in a semester and 1 end sem and end sem are comparatively easy as compared to internal exams.
Placement Experience
the college starts placements in the 7th sem. The companies visited are IBM, Wipro, and Cisco. The average package provided to CS and IT students is 5 lac. Almost every student got placed who opts for placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fike hike by 10% when I come in 3rd year. And the total course fee is 5 lac excluding hostel and mess fee. There are scholarships available for some students in the EWS category, single child-parent, etc. The college provides 100% placements to CSE and IT students with an average package of 5 lac.
Campus Life
There is no annual fest conducted till now from the date I joined the college but there are many clubs like singing, bhangra, dancing, debate, etc. They conduct events almost every month. The library of the college is quite good. It has almost every book which is used by teachers in the classroom. There is a badminton court, football ground, volleyball court, basketball court and only 1 sports room from where you can get sports equipment. They are also coding-related groups to help students in technology. Overall campus life is best in this college.
