Remarks

I first opted for plain BCom, then after 1-2 months, I decided to take admission in BCom(accounting and finance). The admission process is of course like other colleges, you have to just run for everything from one sir/mam to another.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was of course interested in accounting and finance after completing my 12th standard so I opted for the course. There are 3-4 teachers every semester for teaching, one teacher for 2 subjects. I did not feel any such problem in this as it was great learning here. The faculty is quite good and well educated (ca and Ph.D. holder teachers with 5-6 years of experience). But if you have any other problems then the office members are not at all supportive. They will keep you waiting for hours and the work will be done only after you visit them a minimum of 2-3times. Exams are too easy if you attend the lectures daily and study what has been taught. They inform me a month ago before conducting exams.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are too much as they do not offer placement assistance. But low as compared to some other colleges. Scholarships are offered but I and many of my friends haven't got any of the money. I have applied for rajashree Shahu Maharaj scholarship in 3rd year but still have not received any update on it.

Campus Life

The most awaited college fest here is the Chandi Utsav which is held every year in Feb-march for 2-3 days. Many games and quiz competitions are there. The library and college infrastructure is also good and it has been reconstructed this year. The classrooms are big and nice. I have not taken part in any of the sports activities so I'm not aware of it. There is a rotary club which conducts visits to ngo and carries out other activities as well. There is a college website also which is run by college students and faculties altogether.

Placement Experience:

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

Mba colleges

Remarks:

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.

When I applied to college first I applied to college bk birla and Rd ruperkar but I can't get admission on that because my 12th marks is not sufficient for eligible on that college so I selected chm and other reason is the college is near from my house.
