BIMTECH review

The college accepts CAT, XAT, and CMAT. Different entrance exams have different cut-offs. CAT had a cut-off of around 70 percentile. The application form was available online on BIMTECH's website, with all the relevant information and deadlines. Further, the shortlisted students went through a personal interview to get admission to BIMTECH. The interview consisted of basic general awareness questions which checked the presence of the mind.

I chose this course as it aligned with my future growth goals professionally. The teachers are extremely knowledgeable and experienced here. Every subject is undertaken by an expert faculty from that area. Multiple visiting faculties also take in courses to provide best of education. The teaching pedagogy differs from one faculty to another. Primarily it is a mix of presentations, case studies, lectures and class interactions. Term exams happen every 3-4 months. The weightage of internals is 60% and externals is 40%. Exams are not that difficult to pass, they check more of practical knowledge through case studies rather than facts.

Multiple opportunities for internships and live projects come up by the college, with good profiles and stipends. The average stipend is 15K per month and the highest is 50k per month. The internship profiles are very good for understanding corporate and learning.

Students are eligible for campus placements from the 4th trimester. Various top companies visit campus from multiple industries like accounting, IT, Banking, FMCG, Research, and many more. The highest package offered is around 18 LPA and the average is 9.5 LPA. The college has a record of placing every student.

The total program tuition fee for 2 years is 1300000 on merit. Top 10 scorers of entrance exams get a fee refund of a certain amount. There are other scholarships available as well, especially for women.

The campus life here is extremely vibrant and full of learning. We celebrate all the festivals of different cultures. The library has a variety of collections of books, the classes are large and beautiful. Multiple sports are played on campus. There are multiple clubs and conduits for students.

There's a cluster of 4 single rooms. The rooms are clean and airy. Meal quality and variety are great as well. The hostel is mandatory to join for all and can be registered while paying for admission only.

We appeared for a PI as a part of the process. The PI majorly involved general awareness questions and questions from the graduation field. Experienced students, they asked questions about their work experience.
