BIMTECH in a nutshell

The PGDM course had a cutoff of 70% in CAT and I applied through the college's portal. The interview process was very smooth and so was the onboarding. The college started in August of 2021 and follows a Trimester based system where exams are held after every 3 months. The course details and the subjects in each trimester, as well as the fee structure, can be found on the college website which again is very intuitive and easy to use

I chose PGDM since I wanted to grow as a professional after working for three years in an IT company. The college was a good fit for what I was looking for. The faculty in the college are all very helpful and qualified. The current faculty: student ratio is around 1:40. The faculty are all experienced and qualified and helpful. The teaching method is a good blend of traditional methods and techniques which work very well in tandem. The term exams are held after every 3 months, the questions are not very tough if you know the basics well

Like the final placements, several companies are visiting the campus for internships including companies like KPMG, EY, VOLVO, JACKSON, and many more. The roles offered are related to the specialization of the student and the stipend can range from 10K to 50K per month

The companies start visiting the campus during the 4th trimester itself. The college boasts big names like ADP, EY, Accenture, Volvo, and many more. The average package is 8.5 LPA and the highest package was 16 LPA. The majority of jobs offered are for Pune and Bangalore locations.

The fees at BIMTECH are around 16L including the hostel fees. The hike policy is 10% for every new batch. The college provides scholarships to students who had above the 85 percentile in CAT and CMAT. A scholarship of 2L is provided to every student fulfilling the criteria. On top of that scholarships are also provided based on trimester results where the toppers are awarded scholarships of up to Rs 50000. The college also assists in getting a job after the degree. I landed a job at 13LPA during my time in the college

The annual feat Reflections is conducted in February every year. The college has several clubs and conduits to be a part of. Each club has events and competitions of its own. The classrooms are spacious and are packed with all the facilities to aid students and professors in the learning process

The hostel rooms are decent. 1st-year students get a double sharing room while 2nd-year students are given a single sharing room. The food menu is decided by the food club members each month and the taste and quality of food are reasonably good. The hostel is mandatory for all students and the rooms have good facilities

I faced a PI during the admission process. It was a panel of 3 faculty members and the questions were mostly related to my personality and current affairs topics. Reading newspapers and staying updated is the best and easiest way to crack the interview.
