Yes, govt quota is based on the rank you got in the team (that is the Kerala entrance exam) and tuition fees for govt quota are 50000-75000 per year.Should gain rank less than 10000 in team exam for getting computer science and engineering

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course as it sector is the future I have seen which is widely growing worldwide and offers great opportunities for every individual's career. The faculty-student ratio is 1 mentor to 10 students ie 1:10 Every faculty has minimum qualifications who acquired masters in their field and got eligible as an assistant professor Term exams are conducted every 4-5 months and it is quite tough but can score if we listen to our mentors

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structures differ for different branches in BTech but tuition fees for those who got merit seats are between 50000-75000 per year And also the college provides a lot of scholarships as per caste, marks scored in higher secondary, and for merit seat students scholarships such as premetric, and post metric scholarships are there.

I enjoy great campus life as I mentioned before the college provides high infrastructure and has international libraries which contain heaps of books. The college conducts tech fests such as Christi which is a national techfest that includes students from the entire nation and annual fest such as nakshatra which is conducted every year of April. Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

College at first look, only started a new chapter in here...

I did a blunder as I did wanted to write IMU CET exam but due to a mistake I did forgot to inform the keam management regarding this and both exam coninsided in one day at different places one in Kerala and other in Bangalore.
