Eligibility was the same as that of MAKAUT ie. 45% in 12th Boards. You should not have a 2 year back after the 12th. Since I took admission here by counseling through Wbjee I got my branch IT in heritage in my 2nd round. The application fee for the WBJEEE form were 500, and for the reservation of your seat after 2nd round of counseling we had to pay 5,000 and that too was managed in our Semester fee. Yes, reservation benefits are available if you are from West Bengal. Yes, for reserving your seat after any round of counseling you have to spend your whole day in your respective college where you want admission.

I was seeing my future in IT Sector after graduation that's why I chose this. 20:1 was the student-teacher ratio. Most of them are PG and some Ph.D. They are quite polite, on the other hand, some are very strict. Term exams were quite timely and most of us get passed leaving only a few who either were absent or very unserious.

From 6th semester students become elegible, Companies visited till now are Tcs, Cognizant, Capgemini, Infosys, EY GDS, Kriti, Pwc, INT etc. Where TCS, Conmgnizant, Capgemini took around 70% of students from our batch ie around 700 students and the offers made them were around 4 for most of the students and 5.5 by capgemini for students, and 7 in digital. 6.8by Pwc. Till the end of 4the year students out the students trying to get placements 95% of them get placed.

The fee structure is 72,000 in starting of your first sem, and from the next semester, it is 48000 per sem. Yes, friends of mine from Bihar get loans from Bihar Government at a 0% interest rate and even the rest get loans from different banks at some interest.

Life at the campus you can only enjoy if you have a very good friend circle. But ya there is some fest like Eclacia in February and also freshers called Nascent in Oct-Nov. Ya there are all kinda books in library for every branch and even magazines and newspapers. Not many amenities in class but most of the classes have projectors. Once in a year is a sports week having all games like badminton, volleyball, cricket, football. But not much co-curricular activites can you explore here in Heritage Institute of Technology. I was from Hussainpur which was the strongest lobby in college and the most friendly one and the opposition was BAPI da + small bengoli lobby.
