Eligibility is Class 12 pass with biology as a subject, through the Neet exam (a separate JIPMER exam used to be conducted till 2019) Application forms are on the Nta website releases the application dates and fees, the application form is also available in the same domain. Should declare the exam dates earlier, also a faster declaration of results should be done for a faster and more seamless counselling process.
Course Curriculum Overview
Mbbs is one of the most sought-after courses in India, and it is the only way to become a doctor in our country. Faculty: student ratio is quite good, every branch and super speciality branch has multiple faculties. Each branch has ranged from 6 to 20 faculties. Highly qualified faculties and one of the best mbbs teaching curricula in India is in Jipmer. Time to time reviews and modifications also take place in this field. Term exams happen in time, moderately difficult to pass
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees have been the same since enrollment, no hike seen. Fees are extremely less in comparison to other government colleges as it is an institute of national importance. No scholarship is availed on campus, stipend is available during the internship.
Campus Life
The annual fest is Spandan, conducted during the month of September. Yes, relevant books and journals are available in the library. The classroom has air conditioning, projectors, proper acoustics, and illumination and is very amenable. Lots of sports activities take place, annual fest Spandan is the largest sports fest among South India medical colleges. Loads of clubs and communities, eg: literature and debating, cultural, security, accommodation, etc.
Hostel Facilities
Clean non air conditioned rooms, single or double rooms both are available. Many mess facilities are available, common mess provides both north Indian and south indian cuisines. Registration for hostel is by writing a registration letter to the Dean and the warden.
