Course Curriculum Overview
I choose ECE because of my interest in microprocessors. The placement for this branch like ECE, CSE, and IT is pretty good compared to other branches in HIT. Faculty to student ratio is very good in HIT as it is around 1:50. All faculty are highly qualified and knowledgeable and their teaching method is also great. We have to appear for 3 class tests and 1 end-semester exam. It is not so difficult to pass the exam.
Internships Opportunities
The internship culture at HIT is good but can be improved by several companies coming for internships. Having projects in your resume can increase your chances of getting internships. Although if you have gathered your required skills you can get an internship.
Placement Experience
From the 6th sem companies start to visit our campus and TPO is quite very active and is improving year by year. In the covid situation placement of the college remain very good. The average package is about 4.5 lakhs per annum. Almost 85% of the students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
At the time of admission, you need to deposit some refundable money in the college. The semester-wise fees are near about 40000-50000 depending on the semester. Apart from this, the exam fee is there which is 1200. Financial assistance and scholarships are also available from the state gov. Jobs and internship opportunities are pretty good on campus.
Campus Life
One of the best campus life in HIT is as it has a huge campus. It has sports and gym facilities and very good interaction with faculty and seniors. All sports events are organized by HIT like the annual sports meet, intra-college football cricket basketball badminton everything is there. The annual fest of HIT is one of the biggest fests in Eastern India. It usually takes place in July. The library facility is also good.
