Admission to BE courses is done through JAC counseling. All the details regarding counseling is available on the website of JAC chandigarh. Admission procedure is very smooth .there will be five rounds and one two spot rounds .

The course curriculum is approved by AICTE .In this course . Electronics & Communication Engineering will contribute to the ever changing industrial requirements, economic growth and global societal needs by enhancing the technical skills and entrepreneurship abilities. PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES: 1. To build a strong foundation in scientific and engineering fundamentals necessary to formulate, solve and analyze engineering problems for successful careers to meet the global demands of the society. 2. To develop the ability among students to synthesize data and technical concepts of Electronics and Communication for application to develop core and multidisciplinary projects. 3. To promote awareness among student for the value of lifelong learning and to introduce them to professional ethics and codes of professional practice. There are lot of companies which offers internships to students like INFOSYS ,Tech mahindra, Sonalika,Cognizant, Josh ,Bebo technologies ,Accenture, Quark, SML ISUZU, Mahindra & Mahindra, Ambuja Cement, Honda, Wipro, ITC, Infogain, L&T Infotech, HP etc.

Campus Placements are usually done after completing 6th semester .Every student is eligible for campus placements. More than 70 companies visits campus for requirement. Companies like Infosys, Cognizant, Gemini ,Accenture, Quark, SML ISUZU, Mahindra & Mahindra, Ambuja Cement, Honda, Wipro, ITC, Infogain, L&T Infotech, HP.

Fee structure is divided into two installments .Submitted through online pupay portal . The fee may subject to change by Panjab University, Chandigarh. You can apply to various scholarships on National Scholarships portal . Panjab university also provides assistance to financially weak students on the basis of merit.

SWS i.e. the Student Welfare Society headed by the Student Welfare In charge Prof. H.S. Bains (Director PUSSGRC) is a society formed for, as the name suggests, the welfare of the students of Panjab University Swami Sarvanand Giri Regional Centre, Hoshiarpur. There are Shor (dramatic club) ,Dcult(dance club) ,Symphonic (singing), Technical society, GDSC ,Literaty club . On the cultural front, events like ANANT is held annually which comprises of many competitions like fashion show, dance competition, singing competition, band wars etc. Students from various prestigious institutes like IIT Ropar, IIT Delhi, NIT Jalandhar, NIT Kurukshetra, PEC, CCET, UIET Chandigarh, LPU, DAVIET Jalandhar, Panjabi University and many other colleges from PTU participate in the fest, giving rise to a good competition. The sports and cultural committee looks after the activities other than academics which help in the overall development of students. the committee organizes sports meet annually in which st
