The only entrance exam where lakhs and lakhs of students sit for admission to top engineering colleges is just JEE. The eligibility of the courses varies every year as per the cutoffs. As per Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, to get admission in the ECE branch 80 percentile and above is enough but to get admission to top IITs in the CS branch you have to clear JEE Mains and secure a good position in JEE advance too. The application form, its dates, and important notices are available on many websites among which the college unit provides accurate and correct information which is very useful for new students. There is no reservation available to the general category students.50% of seats stand reserved under the home state quota for eligible candidates. The admission process is all set. Of course, this is the only exam where many students can make their dream come true and a change in the tech field!

ECE branch is the only field where I wanted to get in even if I do not get good college because I just love to work with electronics and stuff related to it. The faculty and staffs are good enough and supportive. The lectures provided in classrooms, lecture halls, labs are well maintained and the surrounding and environment is just heaven. Almost all the faculty are gate-qualified and hold a doctorate and yes their teaching method is more or less good. Actually what all depends is just how much effort you put into any subject or field. Yes, the exams are conducted on time as per the academic calendar, and yes the difficulty of the paper is moderate.

The placements are pretty good. The average package goes up to 3 to 4 lakhs.TCS, Orange, etc come on campus but some people have secured a 10 -12 lakhs package on campus only. The highest package is 42 lakhs from Microsoft. 70 to 80 percent of students are placed on average. As plans never end, but as for now getting placed in Qualcomm is my top priority and then after the gate exam.

The tution Fees structure is 66000 per sem Annual Fee is 17000 The mess Fee is 24000 The hostel Fee is 22000 There are many scholarships available on campus. The most important is all the students above 8.5 cgpa get relaxation in their tuition fees of whole depending upon their positions.

Campus life is very charming and good enough to make you feel relaxed and comfortable. The best part is the greenery and freshness available. There are many techs and annual fest among which Diksha is the most important. The book's availability is of different varieties in the central library. Gyms and sports held are of different categories and extracurricular activities like trek, campaigns, cleanliness drives, etc are also held regularly.

The hostel Facility provided is good enough to make you enjoy your hostel life and at the same time due to the libraries available in the hostel too, the students interested in studies are comfortable enough to have their studies without any disturbance. There is no registration process as such before. You will be provided with the hostels themselves.
