KNIT - "Yes or No"

The admission process was pretty smooth. We have to reach the campus for the admission process with the required documents and follow the guided procedure. Overall the admission process went smoothly. For the first few rounds of counseling, the cut-off was pretty high but it went moderately low in the last rounds especially in the spot round.

The curriculum is well-planned and structured though some classes are skipped and canceled. The faculty members are extremely charming and helpful. They teach very well if students pay full attention and stay alert. Sessional are taken inn2 terms CT1 and CT2. After 2 sessionals, the main exam is conducted. The exam level is moderate according to the AKTU curriculum. Faculty members are highly qualified personnel with much experience in their respective fields.

Placement in college is pretty average. CS/IT students have better opportunities for placement. Various major recruiters like TCS and other MNCs visit campus. The highest package during this year is 16 lakh per annum(on campus) and 53 lakhs (off campus).

The fee structure is well maintained. It comprises Tuition fees, hostel fees, and mess fees. Fees are pretty low compared to other private colleges. Scholarship options are available for low-income bracket students. They can apply to it through the government site and college as well. Up government scholarships are granted to students who apply.

Life on the campus is pretty good. There are in total 22 councils run by fellow students and seniors of the college. Various events are held by these councils on a regular basis. Each council has its unique characteristics and students are selected for the respective councils through interviews and submission of their CVs. Cultural fests and events are also organized by the councils. An annual function called "ANUBHUTI" is organized every year where many events are organized and students have tons of fun and leisure. Various sports councils are available ranging from carrom to cricket everything.
