Remarks
In Techno Main Salt Lake, we can get admission through WBJEE, JEE Mains, and also through management quota(i.e. by paying a high amount of money to the college authority). 10% of seats are allocated through jee mains, 10% through management quota and the rest of all through the Wbjee cutoff.
Course Curriculum Overview
All the faculty members of my department are very supportive. They are always ready to help us. Student to faculty ratio is 7:1. Most of the faculties have done a Ph.D. Since it is affiliated with Makaut, we have to give an internal exam every month according to the syllabus Makaut.
Internships Opportunities
Byjus always comes during summer and provide summer internship to 5th-semester eligible students. Our college faculties give us minor projects from the 3rd semester and it is necessary for every student in each department.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester, students became eligible for campus placements. Amazon, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, PWC, etc. tech companies visited our campus every year. In 2018-22 the highest package is 36lpa which is offered by Amazon and the average package is 5 lakhs. Almost 80-90% got placed from cse and it departments and 60-70% from the core department.
Fees and Financial Aid
In 2021, the fee for 4 years is Rs 4 lacs 93 thousand but in 2022 fees are increased to 5 lacs 50 thousand. The students who completed 10+2 from Techno India School got a 10% discount on fees. College also provides different scholarships such as aikya Shree, svmcm, etc. for Bengal native students.
Campus Life
Our college organized annual fests named Anakhroons in June at Newton Mela ground. At this fest, famous singers are invited such as Milind Gaba. We have a very beautiful library almost 10000 books are there. Our college organized different sports such as Kabaddi, Football, Cricket, and Tug of War on Independence Day. There are very social groups in our college. For cultural Ankaran, social activities Samaritans, and so on.
