I took admission in this college because this college has good name in industry and has good placement records. Xavier is one of the college that every one want to study.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, internship is given by college. So many companies come as such is related to the department but all of us students do our internships. Companies came and offer good stipends to them and stipend starts from 10k per month.

Placement is provided by the college and companies came like FCB Ulka, Fine Food, Foreign Exchange Dealers Association of India, ForeVision, GAP - Arvind Brands Lifestyle Ltd., Godrej Interio, Godrej Security Solutions, Great place to Work, Hardcastle Restaurants Pvt. Ltd., HDFC - AMC, HDFC Bank, HDFC Ltd, HR Sculptors, HUL, ICICI Securities Ltd, Ideacellular, IFMR Capital, IMRB, Indiabulls Real Estate, Indiva Marketing, Indus OS etc.

Campus Life

Students are challenged to reflect on the consequences of various situations and weave diverse points of view into a coherent understanding of the subject. It is always interactive. The XIMR method of teaching is rooted in active, participative learning.

Faculty

Faculty is definitely very well qualified. All the teachers at degree college are doctorate and expert in their own subject. Very helpful at personal and professional levels. The experience that teachers have is exceptional. But in some year the experienced faculty may be retiring so that need to be consider.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. The teachers were experienced but lacked the drive to teach efficiently. I did not find the staff extra ordinary. There was little to no connection between student and teacher. There was a lot of favoritism.
