Remarks

Minimum +2-based criteria with entrance exam clearance of HPCET. I found an online application from hptu website. Also, it's dated from there too. Yes, there were also reserved seats for candidates of other categories than general. No, I don't want to see any changes in the admission process.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because of its wide scope. Student strength was 600+ and facility members were 50+. All teachers have qualified and their way of talking is also good. Appreciated. Once a month. Not easy to pass having a moderate level.

Placement Experience

In the 8th semester, there was campus placement. Every student can avail of that opportunity. Companies were like infotech and took 2 time our interview. Avg package was 2.4lakh with the highest 4Lakh package for students. Students' placement was on an average 50% I m taking coaching for Je civil and bank PO.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees were around 30000 per semester. The cost of the study was moderate. The scholarship was for 8 cgpa plus students. It was a good thing for all to have scholarships at a good level. Every student tries to get a scholarship.

Campus Life

Always there were a lot of fests in college like fresher, farewell and tech-related functions. There was a library there and we can rent them too for a period of time. Volleyball, and badminton was the sports in the college having tournament too. There were no spots website there.

Placement Experience:

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

yes they povide placements. After 6th sem, means in 7th sem you are eligible for placement and apply for companies based on their requirements. Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Environment of my college

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

Great Learning, Friendly Campus, and Bright Future

I applied to AKTU, IPU, and a few private colleges. I got selected in 2, but picked this college as it has low fees, good teachers, and fair job offers. Seniors also gave good reviews about the labs and coding help. Yes, I could not get a seat in IPU due to low rank. I was close but missed the cutoff for CS. My JEE score was not high enough. I did not apply under spot round as I had already joined this college. Admission is based on JEE Main or state test like HPCET. Cutoffs differ for each branch. You need to pass 12th with PCM.
