A decent college and constantly improving

The college is spread in a large area but the infrastructure is old .Renovations has started in the college for improving the infrastructure.Recently a new building has been added to the college and now the college has two buildings new and old one.The management is also ok ,you cant expect much from them ,they do work but fast actions are not taken by them

There was no entrance examination for taking admission in B.COM .Admission are done by releasing cut offs. I opted this college ,as it was close from my house.

The course duration of B.COM is of 3 years in which we have six semesters. In each semester there are 4-5 subjects.The syllabus for b.com is set by the university of Delhi which is followed by the all colleges of DU. The syllabus is pretty much good as it set by the higher level officials of DU

Since now i have not heard of any internship program in the college.Maybe in future there will be some internship programs in the college.

Since i am in 2nd year student i don't know much about placements.But i do know that companies do come in the college for placements but they are not big companies.I have seen the placement cell of our college working hard for students.because of them few of the big companies has come into our college

Lots of events are organized in the college,Sometimes is the event organize by some department and sometimes by other. Days such as environment are well celebrated by the colleges by some events.Each year the annual fest of college is organized which is a three day event.This year singer indeep bakshi was invited for the performance in the college

Since it comes in university of Delhi the fees are pretty much feasible.The fess for B.com program was RS 12000 for a 1st year student of general category student. There are some scholarship and some fee refund things too there for benefits of students

Scholarship are there for the benefits of the students .The complete procedure of getting the scholarship is there in the college website or can be obtained from the help desk

The campus is widely spread in the area.Also our college has one of the best playground for hockey ,many of the hockey matches of DU are held in our college. Also there is a separate playground for cricket and other sports. Many events are organize by the respective departments team which include debates, quiz competitions and other things Gender ratio is also pretty much equal and there's is no racism in the college.

There is no hostel in the college for students.Talking about the food that is available in the canteen is pretty much good.The prices of the food are reasonable and quality of the food is also good. Recently the canteen has been renovated and made fully air conditioned .

The crowd is friendly .I have many senior friends in my college which are very much supportive.But some fights do happen in our college too because of some students. But most of the time i find friendly crowd. Many of the team members of different departments are seniors only which work really hard.

All the DU colleges have the same examination format and examination papers.The exams pretty much well designed to test the knowledge if student.The examinations are held in the classrooms of college only and no other centers are alloted for the examinations

Well the admission is according to the rules set by university of Delhi. College release its cut of and we have to see whether we have the required percentage or not for taking admission. After that first step is to apply on line by the admission portal.After that we need to verify our percentage from the college officials and fill the necessary admission form.

I have a mix experience of faculty till now in this college. Some of the faculty is really much interested in teaching and some of them are not at all. And the rest are teaching for the sake of teaching.But if you are lucky you might get chance to study from some of the best faculty which are there in the college
