Only problem is election party and the fights of these party members. Some pass out candidate of election party came and create scene .otherwise faculties and students are good .

There is no such entrance examination for B.Sc in Delhi university.Admission is based on the 12th percentage or scores. According to the cutoff one can get admission in Delhi university.I got 75% in top 4 subjects. This college is located at shahdra which is near to my house so, I selected this college.

Mathematics is a wide branch of study . It is an interesting subject .Totally cover all the doubt which student faced in secondary classes . Maths honours is lot more what u had studied in class 12th .Maths honours curriculum and class 12 th maths is not relatable . Subject of study in maths honours was Real analysis ,Algebra,Differential ,etc.

No there is no such facility of internship in Shyam lal college. Companies like concentrix,Rbs,Sale,counselling came to our college they offered good packages.

Yes .This college has placement cell. Student have to register online for it.I came across companies like concentrix,Rbs,counselling ,sales etc.I got selected for concetrix in my final year of college but I was unable to join because I wanted to do further studies first

Every department celebrate their fest separately .Maths festival named was GANITA. Which was organised by our Teachers and the volunteers .GANITA was 2 days fest and it covers many events like Rangoli making,pictionary,games, seminar , Quiz competition,Debate,and at last it ends with a refreshments .another Event was our annual college fest which was most awaited every year .I attended 3 annual fest and I liked the 2nd year intercollege fest.In Du u have an advantage that u can attend any other Du college fest with the use of your identity card.

Yes fees structure is feasible .As it is a government college so it has very less fee structure as compared to other private institution and it is affordable for every family. Just 12k Including all practical and Exam Fees] per annum. Fee Depends upon types of courses offered in the College. Different Fee Structure for different Courses.

Scholarship is provided by the college for economically weaker students of up-to about 90% depending upon the academic performance. Also PWD, ST, SC and OBC students are also provided concession in fees from college .

There is enough space for sports facility in Slc. There is always a mix crowd when it comes to equality related to backward caste people or gender. Politics is bad.The only reason which influence the student and distract from studies due to politics parties.

Hostels are not available in this college.mess facility is also not available .But this college has canteen facilty which provide fast food at less rates. Pg rooms for rent are available in nearby locations like bihari colony and shahdra.i individual as well as sharing room facility are available for Rs.5000-10000

During admission process seniors helped many students so ,yes seniors are helpful. But can't say more about academic help because in 2013 our course newly introduced in the college so we had no seniors of same course

Exam structure of Delhi university is Semester wise . 3 year covers in 6 semester examination . In my course I had 2 practicals in 2 years and in final year 3 practicals which was based on computer a software named as wolfram mathematica . We enjoyed practicals more.

First of all I collected the Du admission form from the south campus ARSD college aftr filling it I submitted this in the same college and the attested photocopy they gave me which I supposed to use in the admission procedure . Later on in last week of June first cutoff has arrived and 75% for maths honours in Shyam all college was the requirement so I rushed up to this college with the documents like photocopy and original of 12th marksheet , provisional certificates and address proof also the attested admission form . That day there were people's standing in a que outside the window aftr attestesting the documents the next step was to submit the documents in the computer lab . Final step was submitting the fees and then u got the admission after receiving the fee slip .

Faculty of Mathematics Department is very good I feel blessed that I had got the chance to study by these professors. ALGEBRA seems so difficult but Professor Balram kindra 's notes helped our department so much .Rahul sir former student of Du who did B.Sc and M.Sc from Du ,cleared NET and working as a Ad-hoc professor .He is a outstanding teacher who taught every concept in the possible way and made the subject so easy to understand other professor like Seems guglani mam ,Ritu Mam ,Anuj Sir and Chandrapraksh Sir these are the gems of maths department.
