Eligibility for the course is 12th mark and CEE KEAM qualification. We can find the application form, application fees and application dates on our college website. No improvement is necessary, admission process proceeds very rapidly.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I am interested to be an engineer. All faculties are very friendly and cooperating, teach all portions very well and all students are sitting interest in every period. Qualification of faculties in our college:- Some have taken PhD certificates and some have worked for ISRO. The teaching of our faculties is good and efficient. Term exams happen at the end of every semester and are a bit tough to pass.

Internships Opportunities

Wipro, TCS, and Amazon are some companies that come and offers internships with stipend. The projects are done in the final year of the course. Projects help us to gain experience and get good jobs in big companies.

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester, onwards some students are eligible for campus placements. Wipro, TCS, Amazon, etc. are some companies visiting our college and I don't know the accurate no of offers made by the company, maybe approximately 20000 I think. 6 Lakhs per annum is the highest package offered by a company. 40% of students are getting placements. After getting the degree I will work for the company where I got my placement for 2 years and after that, I would take a master's certificate

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of study for this course is 75000 and other expenses ( Books, uniforms, caution deposit, etc) come up to 1.2 Lakhs. Scholarships are provided on the basis of 12 the result and KEAM rank. Intership programs are held in college in the 8th semester from different companies.

Campus Life

Equinox is the annual fest conducted in our college and it was held on 1 st month of every year. Our college library is providing a lot of books and journals and all students are applicable to all books at any time during the class hour. Libraries are also providing computer systems and networks so that students can use them to seaching anything on the internet. Classrooms are big and spacey having no darkness inside the room. Chairs and benches are comfortable and everyone has space to sit. There is big room for the physics department to have more sports equipment and our college also provides support for sports. There are a lot of clubs providing support and awareness for students and social groups for strengthening weak persons in college

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

LMCST the GREEN CAMPUS

The admission process is really good. Students having a valid KEAM rank can get other fee reductions and get on management and merit seats. Those who don't have a valid KEAM rank can approach NRI seats. The admission procedure is like before about 1 month after the college start management and new seats can be occupied.
