Everything about college

The admission process is very easy. They accept either the JEE exam marks or they also take their own exam and also a telephonic interview is taken. If you secured more than 90% in the 12th board then they give direct admission in the course.

B. Tech in food technology is a very vast course and as food is necessary for everyone so I wanted to learn something new course. This course is having great growth in future. In this college there almost many students and teachers also. The ratio is the same. The teaching method is very interesting through ppts and the teacher also uploads ppt to the website of the University from where students can study. There are total of 3 exams per semester and in the gap of 45 days, each is taken. The exam is not much tough and they are easier to pass.

As I am in the third semester so I don't know much about an internship but companies come for internship for final-year students and also gives stipend of around 10-15 thousand. Projects are chosen by the students themselves and teachers are always helpful in each case.

In the 8th semester, most companies visit for placement. This time for food tech Haldivita visited and I think 20% of students are hired and many companies visit. The highest package offered is 8 lac per annum and the minimum is 3 lac. Mostly 80% of students get higher and some students opt for higher studies. I also planned for higher studies and if I get a good placement then I will go for placement.

The fee structure is nominal according to private institutions. They also give scholarships to some of the students of which I don't have much knowledge. The fee hike is almost every year and which is not much.

There are many events conducted in the University like Panchatantra which is basically a competition between every department and is held every year when new batches of the class are started another fest is Moksh which is an annual fest conducted in March every year. There is a 5-floor library in which there is every type of book available. Every class has a digital board and there are 5 to 6 halls in which classes are held. There is an open-air theatre (oat) where every function happens and a Vrindavan garden. There is every sports facility available on campus. There is a Yuvraj stadium on campus which was inaugurated by Yuvraj Singh itself, then a basketball ground and a Milkha Singh complex which is for indoor games and also has a gym. There are many social groups and clubs some like SFY, cuisine club, Raag rang, and many more.

In the hostel room, there is every type of amenities provided like cupboards, beds, mattresses and many more. Like every hostel, the food quality is not very good but it is to be eaten. They give four times food. Every day has a different menu which is fixed and two days in the week they give sweets and on Sunday at the night, they give paneer. The process of the hostel is easy in that you have to pay fees and sign in some papers which are basically undertaking of the student. The fees which they take are minimal according to the hostel. They provide all facilities like laundry, wifi and many more.
