During my time covid-19 took over. I am from west Bengal gave both the IIT JEE exam and the WBJEE and I got an average rank in both of them nothing special. Due to covid-19, everything was online and so was the counselling and admission process. I opted for WBJEE counselling first because it happened prior to IIT JEE counselling. After a few rounds, I landed CSBS in HITK college, having an interest in the computer I could not let the stream go and so I locked it unluckily I couldn't find better courses in the NITs, so I decided to stick to this course and college and proceeded with the admission process which consisted of payment of the online fees and then an induction process was held which was online as well. I believe I cannot really ask for improvements because the country was in a state of awe and everyone did the best they could. But there will always be room for improvement.

Not really what I expected. The course is new and teachers and professionals from different branches are being transferred to our branch. The faculty is very nice though with some exceptions. They are very helpful but the exams are weird because we are only getting 3-4 months to prepare for a 6-month course.

The placements are very nice and the best among the private institutions in Kolkata. Around 90 percent of students get placed but as a result, the average salary takes a toll but the highest salary is high as well.

The fees are one of the least around here and what we get for what we pay is very nice. The scholarship opportunities are very nice around here job opportunities are also very good as we get around 80-90 percent placement of students.

The campus life was below expectations, everyone was getting over covid-19 and the clubs were trying to get back on track. However, now we are getting on track and a lot of opportunities for club activities and fests are coming up which has everyone pumped up.
