There is an entrance exam for college admission at the state level. admission based on the ranking. . Entrance exam sites are there to know about the application dates, fees, etc. Reservation students got a fee deduction

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is a little bit hard to study. The faculties are good but some need to improve. Highly educated teachers are there to teach. 1:25 teachers are there. By choosing this course I can go for software or core jobs

College placements are better. The average placement package is seven lacks per year. Top companies are there for hire. Tata, Infosys,Vipro etc are there . From 3 rd year onwards students can apply for placements

The total fee is around four lakes. Bt hostel needs some more. Scholarships are there for students. Good placements are there. seven lacks are the average package for our college. Campus placements are from top companies.

Campus Life

Cutaway is the annual fest of our college. And advent is the tech fest. There are the main library and department libraries available. Sports like basketball, volleyball, cricket, and football are there

Hostel Facilities

There is no college hostel for students. But college hostel building construction is in the way. Many PGs are available here. Bt rate is much higher and facilities are fewer. The food is not very good.

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

I choose this college because it has vibrant campus life and freedom.It also has good placement records,good pass percentage. I also took due to distance advantage.This college also has good faculty, teaching. Although the campus is small, the infrastructure is well maintained. It has well structured labs.I also looked for cet, Trivandrum but I didn't get it because of my keam rank. The exam accepted for the course is keam and most of the students prefer it. Students can also join this college by nri quota without any entrance exam by giving more fees.I got admission in ece in sctce in the keam 1st allotment itself....Read More

A look inside Sct - Campus life, Academics and more

The main reason I chose this college was because this as under the Government of Kerala. It is held jointly by both government and ksrtc. This the standard of teachers will be better than other private colleges and campus life would be better as well. I have gotten confirmed admission from Amritha University and FISAT. I chose Sct because of the above given reason and also because of its location in trivandrum. I had applied to both Cet and Gect but I didn't pass the cutoff. The admission price for SCTCE is through KEAM which is held by the government of Kerala.
